Ritz Camera University classes are divided into a four-class “Essentials” course (four sessions taken in sequence) and three “Electives” classes designed to expand your photographic knowledge.
The four class Essentials course is designed to help you become more confident with general camera operation, have a sound working knowledge of the digital image. Become successful in organizing, preserving, presenting, and sharing your life’s memories. Take better pictures! Avoid common mistakes and use proven picture taking techniques. Then finally, to understand the fundamental principles photography, get out of automatic, get creative, and fully utilize the capabilities of your equipment.
The Electives classes build upon the foundation of the essentials course with specific digital and photographic knowledge. Starting with an understanding of light, both natural and artificial. Tips and techniques using controlled lighting products. How to improve all types of photography using photographic filters.
Please bring your ticket package to class.
Please do not tear individual tickets from the package. You can also purchase a single class admission or ticket package prior to class.
You may wish to bring your camera with a fully charged battery, its user guide and a pen/pencil and paper to take notes.
Most locations require reservations because seating is limited. Simply call or visit your local store to make a reservation.
